As an abstract artist, I use credit cards and cardstock as my brushes. I stray away from using paintbrushes and traditional painting material because I want to play with the viewer's eye. Having them constantly guessing what color was laid on top of the other. I use the same 5-7 colors in all my paintings and occasionally will add detail in gold to unify them. The colors I use are red, yellow, blue, green, white, and occasionally gold and black. I paint in a range of sizes from 4"x6" to 4'x6'. creating a family of colors

as a ceramic artist, I take great pride in my clay. This is because I have formulated my clay to flash metallic hues in atmospheric firings. The clay I use is formulated to be fired from cone 6 - cone 10. The throwing experience is like porcelain while giving you the sturdiness of stoneware. I make many things out of ceramics including sculptural and functional objects. typically my work is pretty large but as of late I have been working in the medium size range. I traditionally fire in atmospheric kilns such as salt, soda, and or wood. most of the pieces you will see have no glaze on the outside allowing the natural clay to shine.
